The reactor was defined in terms of the mass transfer coefficient (Km), determined by the limit current technique; and hydrodynamically. In a second part of the work, the application of the reactor for electrooxidation / Electro-Fenton in the degradation process of the Methyl Orange (AM) synthetic dye was studied, since the textile industry is identified as one of the most polluting industries in the world , generating effluents containing large amounts of dyes that are highly toxic, carcinogenic, persistent and pose a threat to the environment and human health, thus requiring an adequate treatment before being discharged into the receiving bodies. For the best and least efficient condition according to the mass transfer coefficient, the removal of color and decay of dye concentration over time were evaluated. Through the study of the reactor hydrodynamics it was possible to observe a predominantly turbulent flow regime for the situations, establish a correlation of Sh=0,023Re0,83Sc1/3 . Regarding the results of the mass transfer coefficient, it can be observed that the Experimental km was higher than theoretical, indicating that the mass transfer is not homogeneous due to the presence of gases generated in the electrodes. Through the analysis of color removal and dye degradation, it was possible to analyze that the difference in relation to the value of the mass transfer coefficient did not affect the efficiency results secondary, since the final values were approximated both for the situation without valve (best condition) and for the situation with flow i (less efficient condition).
