Methodology: transversal study, done with twenty women above the age of 35 years old who’ve reported urinary incontinence. The patients went through clinical evaluation, life of quality questionnaire (QoL), King Health Questionnaire (KHQ), UI severity scale (ISI-Q), functional evaluation of the pelvic floor muscles (PFM), perineometry and the one-hour pad test. In the statistical analysis were used the Shapiro-wilks and Spearman tests, the level of significance was 5%. Results: Twenty volunteers with the average rate of age 57,9±9,17 years, body mass index (BMI) of 31,9±5,21 Kg/m² were evaluated. In the physical evaluation the volunteers obtained in the one-hour pad test an average of 0,99±1,40g, functional appraisal of the PFM power 3,25±1,16, perineometry of 24,6±15,12 cmH2O. There was a moderate positive correlation between the one hour pad test with: domain amount of urinary loss (rs= 0.47) and severity of UI (rs= 0.52) of the ISI questionnaire; domains role limitations (rs= 0.45), sleep and disposition (rs= 0.48), severity measures (rs= 0.65) of KHQ. A high positive correlation was also found between the pad test and the emotion domain (rs= 0.77) of the KHQ.
