The present work has the general objective of analyzing the conditions of Bairro das Rocas in Natal/RN for the practice of Afrotourism as an anti-racist tool. In order to achieve the general objective, we sought to: a) Historically contextualize the neighborhood of Rocas; b) Present the views of the representatives on the expressions they participate in and their connections with black people and anti-racist discourse; c) Show your opinion on the possibility of inserting your expressions in the tourist offer. As a methodology, research with a qualitative approach was used with document analysis and the creation of a structured questionnaire applied with representatives of cultural expressions present in Bairro das Rocas.
