With that in mind, our study aims to identify the factors that support the rates of attendance in physical education classes in the level of education aforementioned, on guiding of three factors. These factors are the affectivity, based on the teacher-student relationship, the methodological processes and the school structure, focused on the teaching-learning process in school. We seek to understand through qualitative-descriptive research the influence of these factors, using written information received by students of Escola Estadual Professor Edgar Barbosa, located in Natal’s city in Rio Grande do Norte. In the results we could relate the answers given by the students with the reality and difficulties encountered in the educational process through the relation with the literature and understanding of each factor. Pointing as results, the need for a closer look at the reality in which students are inserted, observing that each searched factor correlates and brings visible impacts to the students, who have been able to identify and require the teacher that promote changes that reflect the mutual commitment with the discipline and the teaching learning process. This process is based on exploitation of the environment, teacher-student relationship and the contents studied.
