Using Yuval Noah Harari's studies on the evolution of Homo sapiens as a theoretical foundation, the work contextualizes AI as the pinnacle of a unique technological phase that transcends biological thought. The discussion delves into the existential and ethical implications of AI, investigating the scenario of a post-humanist adventure that suggests the possibility of transferring human consciousness to the cybernetic realm, as reflected in narratives such as the Westworld television series. In this context, Edgar Morin's perspective on the "enigma of man" and the complexity of the human being underpins the analysis of identity and existence in the digital age. Based on the perspectives of Coeckelbergh and Hans Jonas, the study concludes that the priority should be the preservation of life and the planet in its current form, rather than a narrative that prioritizes technological transcendence.
