Fatores intrínsecos para o risco de quedas entre idosos: revisão integrativa. Orientadora: Rafaela Carolini de Oliveira Távora. 2023. 26 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Enfermagem) - Faculdade de Ciências da saúde do Trairi, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Santa Cruz, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/56735Introduction: aging implies an increased risk for the development of vulnerability, senescence is a process permeated by increasing changes, which involve a set of individual aspects that influence the individual's living conditions and health. Objective: To map and identify in scientific literature the main intrinsic factors for the risk of falls among the elderly. Method: This is an integrative literature review, consisting of six methodological steps carried out by the author. To define the theme and research question, the strategy used was based on population, concept and context. Therefore, a search was carried out in international and national databases: National Library of Medicine, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences and Nursing Database, paying attention to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: 133 studies were identified, of which only 9 were included in the review. The majority of articles identified in this review pointed out that issues such as vertigo, balance problems, muscle weakness, balance problems and the prevalence of chronic diseases, including polypathologies, were identified as significant precursors. Conclusion: After analyzing the studies, it was possible to identify the complexity and multiplicity of intrinsic factors associated with the increased risk of falls among the elderly. Therefore, both mapping and understanding intrinsic factors are essential for implementing preventive measures for this population.Attribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Acidentes por quedasVulnerabilidadeIdosoSaúde do idosoFatores intrínsecos para os riscos de quedas entre pessoas idosas: revisão integrativaIntrinsic factors for the risk of falls among elderly people: integrative reviewbachelorThesis10.17605/OSF.IO/7KVN4CNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE
