The health crisis caused by the new Coronavirus has led to the need to build new methodological tools that mark the transition from face-to-face to remote teaching. Furthermore, it forced the entire population to reflect on what would be the “new normal”. At the global level, there were important impacts on labor relations, which will probably not remain the same as in a period before the digital age. New technologies have brought benefits for workers to provide their services without the need to leave their homes and the possibility of working anywhere they are. The main objective of the research is to investigate the socio-environmental practices developed in the Environmental Education Sector of the Municipal Secretariat for the Environment and Urbanism of Natal, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Technology, which was often seen before as something that kept subjects away from social life, at this moment of transition from activities, presents itself as a collective benefit for the educational process. Given this scenario, the Environmental Education Sector of the Department of Environment and Urbanism sought to adapt the Programs and Projects already developed in person, in the pre-pandemic.
