The objective of this study is to analyze the characteristics and conditions of the development of destination wedding activity as an alternative for tourism and events in Rio Grande do Norte. To achieve the intended objectives, the research followed a qualitative approach, of an exploratory-descriptive type. Data collection was carried out through documentary research and semi-structured interviews with four local wedding planners who work with this segment in the region.
