Method: Parents answered a questionnaire with questions related to the child's general development, socioeconomic classification and the Survey of Wellbeing of Young Children (SWYC). For the purpose of the study, the developmental milestones and Parent's Observations of Social Interactions (POSI) were used. The sample consisted of 19 children, of both sexes, with an average age of 21.4 months in the first collection and 24.5 in the second. Besides descriptive analysis, Fisher exact test was used for inferential analysis. Results: In the developmental milestones, more than half of the children (57.9%) performed below expectations at first collection, but there was a lower percentage at second collection (47.4%). Following the same pattern, 52.6% were classified at risk for social interaction at the first collection, while at the second collection 36.8% received such classification. At the second collection, there was a relation between performance in developmental milestones and risk indicators for social interaction. Conclusion: In this sample, we identified a high rate of performance indicative of difficulties in developmental milestones and risk indicators for social interactions.
