The experience took place within the context of the Mandatory Supervised Internship IV, a course of the Dance Licentiate Degree, conducted during the second semester of 2024. The research aims to reflect on the possible contributions of KVT to body awareness among classical ballet students. A qualitative research methodology was adopted to evaluate the phenomena and experiences lived by the students during the application of the technique. After the development of the classes, it was possible to observe that the studied technique fostered a sensitization of the body towards new ways of moving. The experience contributed to thinking about a less directive and mechanistic approach to dance teaching, diversifying the students' possibilities for self-expression through bodily listening and playfully sharpening the senses for exploring bodily possibilities. KVT offers experiences that can be integrated with the technical and codified aspects of classical ballet.
