Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Especialização em Residência em Tecnologia da Informação) - Instituto Metrópole Digital, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/54890With the continuous evolution of technology and its applications, society is experiencing significant changes in how it interacts with and utilizes the internet. Despite this growing access to the web, many users, especially those with disabilities, still face barriers in using online resources and services. In this context, it is necessary to build web systems taking into account accessibility best practices. The Brazilian Law of Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (LBI) makes it mandatory to implement accessibility in web environments, aiming to eliminate obstacles and ensure the social participation of all individuals. For this purpose, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide essential recommendations to make online content more accessible. The software PagRN, developed in partnership between the Metropolitan Institute of Digital Technology (IMD) and the State Secretariat of Administration of Rio Grande do Norte (SEAD-RN), seeks to minimize existing access barriers within the system by adhering to the guidelines outlined in WCAG. Understanding the importance of designing accessible web systems from the early stages of conception is crucial to avoid rework and enable the software to be used autonomously by anyone. In the application development, the Angular framework was used for the front-end, with Java Spring for the back-end. The implementation of accessibility guidelines in PagRN aims to reduce access barriers and provide future development teams with the necessary understanding to maintain accessibility best practices in their routine. The NVDA screen reader was used as a testing tool for the system. It is expected that after the implementation of accessibility guidelines in PagRN, obstacles related to accessibility will be minimized, and the ongoing development of this software will be guided by inclusivity, creating room for an enriching and accessible experience for all users involved.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Acessibilidade na webBarreiras de acessoWCAGWeb accessibilityAccess barriersAcessibilidade na web: minimizando as barreiras de acesso do PagRNWeb Accessibility: minimizing access barriers from PagRN.bachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA
