Propostas de Termos de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido adaptados para pessoas com deficiências visuais no Brasil: um estudo metodológico. 2022. 52f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Fisioterapia) - Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde do Trairi, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Santa Cruz, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50871Introduction: There are no recommendations in Brazil for adapting the Free and Informed Consent Form adapted for people with visual impairments, which has made it difficult for this population to exercise autonomy in participating in scientific research. Objective: To adapt the Free and Informed Consent Form of a research project to be presented to people with visual impairments. Methods: This is a methodological study that described the process of adapting the TCLE of the research project “Functionality Profile in Santa Cruz - RN: pilot study”. The TCLE was converted for people with low vision with enlarged fonts and high contrast and for people with complete visual impairment (amaurosis) through audio and Braille transcription. Results: Three proposals for TCLEs for people with low vision and amaurosis were performed and described. Conclusion: The TCLEs adapted for the visually impaired population aim to enable the participation of this public and increase knowledge about the research content, its objectives, risks and benefits and other items necessary for consent to participate in the research.Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/br/Consentimento Livre e EsclarecidoPessoas com DeficiênciaPessoas com Deficiência VisualTranstornos da VisãoAcesso aos Serviços de SaúdePropostas de Termos de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido adaptados para pessoas com deficiências visuais no Brasil: um estudo metodológicoInformed consent term proposals adapted for people with visual disorders in Brazil: a methodological studybachelorThesis
