Casa Juá: uma habitação social modelo para a região do alto-oeste potiguar. 2016. 154 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo) - Departamento de Arquitetura, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2016.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/36973In the Northeast of Brazil, many traditional building techniques that had been used since colonization period were gradually supplanted by industrial processes, which were mostly imported from other culture and climes. The social housing programs, more than disregard local building techniques, have been indifferent to the culture and clime of each different region. Within this context, and following global trends of green architecture, this work aims to propose a study of a low-cost housing model adapted to the cultural and bioclimatic constraints of the upper-west region of Rio Grande do Norte. This region is located at Brazil’s Bioclimatic Zone 7, whose climate is mainly tropical hot and dry. This study is very relevant for a region that has still been very little studied during the architecture undergaduation at UFRN. That region also receives many public housing programs, which are not adapted to either its hot weather or its cultural specificities. Beyond that, a project that is sensible to its surrounding areas and clients helps to create the belonging feeling among its users; it also inspires other popular construction to pursue a god quality level, as well as helps to decrease energy expenditure. In order to achieve those goals, case studies, post occupation analysis, data survey and simulations were made, associated to extensive researches to the most varied sources.openAccessHabitação social - Alto oeste potiguar - MonografiaArquitetura bioclimática - MonografiaHabitação de baixo custo - MonografiaClima tropical quente e seco - MonografiaCasa Juá: uma habitação social modelo para a região do alto-oeste potiguarbachelorThesis
