This is a cross-sectional study, with a quantitative approach. Data collection took place via the application of an instrument adapted from the proposed methodology for National Research on Access, Use and Rational Use of Medicines. Of the 34 professionals, 41.18% were doctors and 58.82% dentists, with a prevalence of females (55.88%). The prevalent employment contract was the contract (32.35%) under a 40-hour weekly regime (55.88%). Most prescribers (73.52%) know the Standardized List of Medicines through the office (55.88%) and agree that it partially meets the needs of users (50%), however, they never participated in its elaboration (61.77%) and do not know how to proceed to request inclusion and / or exclusion of drugs in this (61.76%). The use of medication use protocols is not a reality (73.54%), as is access to the Drug Information Center (2.94%). Adoption of the Brazilian Common Denomination was cited by 52.94% of the respondents. Information on availability of medicines at the municipal pharmacy is common (70.59%) and when they identify a lack of them, they substitute in the prescription (76.47%). Users' adherence to the prescription is prevalent for respondents (55.89%), however, the notification of technical complaints and adverse drug events is low (14.71%).
