Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Gestão, Trabalho, Educação e Saúde) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2021.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/46596The Permanent Education in Health comprises the process of learningat work, based on the premise of effective learning and on the possibility of transformingpractices in the service. Faced with the challenges in the context of theCOVID-19pandemic, a Virtual Learning Environment was created, named EducaSaúdeSC,with the aim of training, updating and accelerate information about the pandemicforhealth workers. The present study analyzes the use of EducaSaúdeSCanditspossible contributions, in the period of the pandemic, for workers in this sector, inthestate of Santa Catarina, a document analysis type research. The study datawereobtained from public domain information from the EducaSaúde SC2020and2021platform. The results pointed to the completion of six courses withCOVID-19thematic, with 10,135 registrations from workers, distributed in the 17 HealthRegionsand 3,094 graduates. It was found that a large part of other professional categories,as well as the various health areas of Santa Catarina, registered intheofferedcourses. It was possible to identify the significant number of accesses of workerstothe contents available, there was a uniform distribution in the amount of hourspercourse, the variation in the number of classes for each of themwas considerable, with an important distribution of the same in the health regions of the State. Despitethe large number of enrollments, only 30% completed the courses, maintainingconsiderable evasion, already foreseen in the remote modality. Evenso, it wasgenerally perceived that the strategy of providing a Virtual Learning Environment, specific to enable the maintenance of the offer of courses at the time of thepandemic, was of fundamental importance, since the health protocols preventedface-to-facetraining. It is concluded that EducaSaúde SC was extremely important at thetimeofthe COVID 19 pandemic, as a complementary way to health educationandcontinuing education activities, in addition to enabling an important exchangeofemerging information, essential at the moment. However, there are still challengestobe overcome.Acesso AbertoEducação à distânciaEducação em saúdeEducação continuadaCovid-19Análise do uso do "EducaSaúde SC" no contexto da pandemia da Covid-19masterThesis
