Dismenorreia primária e etcc: efeitos sobre a performance física e estado de humor, um ensaio clínico randomizado controlado duplo cego. 2018. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Fisioterapia) - Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde do Trairi, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Santa Cruz, 2018.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/34073Objective: The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of the use of TDCS on physical performance and mood state in women with PD. Method: Eleven active treatments and 11 placebo stimulations of 5 TDCS applications were performed over a period of 1 week. The outcomes were evaluated by the Positive and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (SAH), lumbar dynamometry and six-minute walk test (6MWT). Initial data were collected in the first menstrual cycle and in the second menstrual cycle and post-intervention data were collected. Results: The GEE analysis did not reveal the effect of the intervention in the active group on positive affect (Wald x2 = 0.06, p = 0.80), negative affection (Wald x2 = 0.004, p = 95) and anxiety Wald x2 = 0.09, p = .76) or pre-post intervention and interaction effect between modification of variables (p> 0.05). The dynamometry (Wald x2 = 2.12, p = 0.54) and submaximal aerobic performance (Wald x2 = 0.72, p = 0.39) did not differ between groups nor pre-post intervention (p> 0, 05). Conclusion: Data from the present study did not show a significant difference for the TDCS-active group in the positive affection, negative affection, anxiety, improvement of the perception of effort and submaximal aerobic performance when compared to the TDCS-sham group.
