Based on a qualitative approach, a literature review and a questionnaire were carried out with an early childhood education teacher. The theories of Vygotsky and Piaget and other authors support the analysis, highlighting the mediation of digital technologies in social learning and active interaction with the digital environment. The results indicate that tools such as educational games and applications promote engagement, cognitive development and children's socialization. However, challenges were identified related to excessive exposure to screens, inequalities in infrastructure, especially in rural areas, and the need for teacher training.
