Orientador: Raphael Raniere de Oliveira Costa. 2022. 148f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Educação, Trabalho e Inovação em Medicina) - Escola Multicampi de Ciências Médicas do Rio Grande do Norte, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/49536The gestational process is complex, dynamic and multidimensional for the woman and her family, due to the clinical, social and cultural characteristics, characterizing a process of transformations, perceptions, fears and insecurities regarding what will be experienced, including the acquisition of new responsibilities. Thus, in order to ensure the quality of care for pregnant women, it is important that health professionals make use of different technologies, materials and methods. Among these technologies, the Podcast is mentioned. The use of the Podcast as a digital technology can help guide pregnant women and health professionals. From this perspective, the general objective of the study was to develop and validate the content of podcasts on the physiological changes of pregnancy and the stages of human embryonic and fetal development. This is a methodological study. The following steps followed: definition of the set of objectives for the podcast; review of scientific literature; planning and elaboration of the podcast; construction of the podcast; validation of podcast content. Was planned as an educational-informational podcast. The podcast is in audio format, lasting five to ten minutes per episode. After this step, a narrative review of the literature was carried out. There was no time frame or language limitation for the search for the theoretical framework. After this process, the contents were organized in logical sequences and the instrument was assembled with the content to be validated. The content was organized into two parts. Part one, about embryonic and fetal human. Part two is about the physiological changes of pregnancy. Eleven judges participated in the validation process. The average age of the judges was 36 years. Regarding the time of professional practice, the average was 8.6 years. Most are female (81.8%), from Nursing and Biological Sciences (27.3%), with a doctorate (72.7%), with more than one professional occupation (63.6%). In part one, in the first evaluation round, 28 items were validated with a Content Validity Index (CVI) greater than 0.80. In part two, 9 items were validated with CVI > 0.80. Two items did not reach the expected agreement. Therefore, a second round of evaluation was initiated. After the second evaluation round, all items, from both parts, were validated with CVI > 0.80. Subsequently, the podcasts will be recorded and distributed to local health facilities.
