In this context, a pilot, observational, cross-sectional and descriptive study was proposed. It was possible to reach a sample size of 11 patients over 18 years of age, of both genders. An adapted instrument containing pharmacoepidemiological variables was applied in the Basic Riverine Health Unit, from which we obtained preliminary guiding results on the use of medications, use of medicinal plants, diseases/comorbidities, health care services used, and routine test requests. It also highlights the identification of different aspects that illustrate potential socioeconomic, demographic, and health deficits, which can negatively impact the living conditions of the riverside population.
