The research is descriptive and is based on secondary bibliographic and documentary data. The work reports which public policies and partnerships were adopted by the municipal administration to enable the local growth of the textile processing industry in the period from January 2021 to June 2022, a time when the pandemic caused several economic losses around the world. In addition, it addresses the variation of jobs in the textile sector, from the observation of admissions and dismissals in the CAGED system, and shows the reflexes of this in the municipal fundraising, taking as a reference the revenue from ISS and ICMS taxes.
