Análise da tensão superficial do aço inox do AISI 316L tratado por oxidação eletrolítica à plasma. Orientador: Thercio Henrique de Carvalho Costa. 2022. 39 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia Mecânica) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50506This work aims to evaluate the changes in the surface tension coordinates of AISI 316L steel treated by plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) with addition of hydroxyapatite. The contact angle technique was used for surface characterization, and the Van Oss - Chaudhury - Good method for surface evaluation, the artifice is used to obtain directly the surface tension coordinates, and indirectly, evaluation of cell and bacterial proliferation. The samples were coated in different configurations, varying the time and polarity of treatment, 10 and 20 seconds for samples treated at anodic potential, and 90 and 180 seconds for samples treated at cathodic potential. Subsequently, wettability tests (contact angle) were performed using three different liquids for each sample: water, glycerol, and xylene. The results showed an increase in surface hydrophilicity in all samples that underwent treatment. And recorded average total surface tension coordinates of: 58.72 mJ/m² for the anodic potential treated samples; 55.10 mJ/m² cathodic and 34.63 mJ/m² for untreated.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Tensão superficialHidroxiapatitaAço Inox AISI 316LSurface tensionHydroxyapatiteStainless steel AISI 316LAnálise da tensão superficial do aço inox do AISI 316L tratado por oxidação eletrolítica à plasmaSurface tension analysis of AISI 316L stainless steel treated by plasma electrolytic oxidationbachelorThesis
