The research was conducted through on-site visits to the main event spaces within the Central Campus in Natal, complemented by internet-based research. A descriptive and applied research methodology with a qualitative approach was adopted. Based on the theoretical findings, a research form was developed to collect primary data, which was applied to those responsible for event management. After mapping the venues, visits were conducted to assess their conditions. Academic events were the primary focus, given their role in knowledge sharing and their importance in fostering societal leadership and opinion formation. The topic of sustainability was also addressed, highlighting its current relevance in all domains, including social events. The results reveal that most venues require physical renovations to accommodate people with specific needs.
