As a consequence of this complexity, Clinical Engineering has gained more and more recognition in Health Care Establishments, which were previously managed by employees who did not have the expertise to assume the position, and was now occupied by biomedical engineers. The efficient management of this equipment provides the extension of its useful life, in addition to the reduction of costs, with corrective maintenance, by the institution. Because of this, this work presented a comparative analysis of the behavior of a hospital before and after the implementation of Clinical Engineering, seeking to highlight the integrated improvements, through the analysis of quality indicators such as example, average time for repair and compliance with the maintenance plan.
