Given this perspective, it develops a question that guides the work at hand, namely the progress of economics can be explained through scientific revolutions of Thomas Kuhn? The methodological strategy used to develop this work was the qualitative method, based on a review of the relevant literature, as well as a theoretical background shaped the thoughts of the main theorists of economics, such as Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Jean Baptiste Say, Thomas Malthus, John Stuart Mill, William Stanley Jevons, Carl Menger, Leon Walras, Alfred Marshall, John Maynard Keynes, Michael Kalecki, Robert Lucas and Thomas Sargent.
