The goal is to propose solutions to decrease interruption frequencies by analyzing and identifying the main causes of failures and suggesting immediate and future actions. The methodology involves collecting operational data throughout 2023, followed by investigations to understand the factors affecting equipment reliability. Inspections were conducted on the machinery’s hydraulic system, resistance testing of the solenoid coils, and checks on power supplies, thus allowing the identification of recurring failures. Additionally, rearming of the twist head and the wire guide chute was performed, as these were found to present the most significant improvement opportunities in the sector. Based on the results, the research highlights that efficient maintenance management, coupled with the application of structured methodologies and the training of the technical team, significantly reduces the occurrence of failures.
