This analysis is necessary to predict environmental risks and impacts that can be mitigated and/or compensated. Within the existing studies, the EIA/RIAM - Environmental Impact Study and Environmental Impact Report, is the one that presents itself with the greatest degree of complexity, requiring a multidisciplinary team, with qualified professionals, and excessive costs for its realization. In the state of Rio Grande do Norte, little is known about the EIA/Rima quantitative ones conducted, or how many companies there are operating in this sector, or what are the states of these companies.
