2021. 49 f. In this classification, is the Mesoscale Convective Complex (MCC). In Brazil, most of the MCC takes place in the La Plata Basin. Some studies have shown the occurrence of this system in the Brazilian Northeast. However, most of these studies do not present a long series of data. The objective of the work was to deepen the knowledge related to the occurrence of MCC in the Northeast of Brazil, from the use of the ISCCP-Tracking database, for the period 1996 to 2008. It is concluded that the MCC that occurred in this generation period similarities to the systems defined by Maddox, but the initiation and dissipation thresholds found were different.
