From the mathematical modeling of the system and its simulation in a computational program, using data from BALDEA (2012), the recycle rate and the purge number were modified at one time and the behavior of the system was observed, comparing the results to the purity of the desired product. Thereafter, the best recycle rate and purge number values were checked to obtain a better yield of the product. It was found that the best recycle rate is 130,0 moles/min and the purge number is 0,0343 where 0,880972 mole fraction of the product of interest was obtained.
