The research is based on the assumption that textbooks play a central role in shaping students' historical consciousness, and that the way certain topics are represented influences the construction of knowledge and values. Through a critical-descriptive analysis of five textbook collections, the study investigates not only the presence of the topic but also the depth, visual and textual resources, and links with contemporary issues. While all the books address antisemitism to varying extents, some limit the discussion to the context of Nazism and the Holocaust, whereas others connect it to current issues, such as the rise of hate speech on social media. The study emphasizes the importance of an approach that promotes human rights, critical thinking, and opposition to all forms of intolerance.
