It was carried out in the first half of 2018 by searching computerizeddatabases (Web of Science™ and Scopus). According to the search criteria reported in the text and with the application of the PRISMA protocol, a result of 12 scientific articles was obtained, for which bibliometric and qualitative content analysis was carried out. Among the findings of the research, we highlight the positive effects of adopting PBL, including increased motivation, a favourable environment for teamwork and the development of organizational skills.
