This study analyzes the parameters of compression resistence, void rates, absorption and specific mass of concrete samples obtained from demolition of Internacional Reis Magos Hotel, which was built in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, and which for many years figured as the main highend tourist development in the state. He was also considered an example of the Modernism movement in the architecture of the Northeast. The goal here, beyond just study the above parameters, is to understand the evolution of compressive resistence over time and analyze the relationship of these values with those of the other parameters, that are related to the durability of concrete. The execution of the tests complied with the NBR 9778 and NBR 13279 standards and the result obtained showed that the concrete of the Hotel, at the time of demolition, had high values of compressive resistence even for current times, presenting, consequently, excellent void rates, excellent absorption and expected values for its specific mass. After considering the form factor, the strength values reached up to 43 MPa; absorption, around 5%; void index, around 12%.
