The specific objectives were: evaluate the Institution's Digital Transformation Plan, identifying its current implementation status; identify the personal data protection mechanisms implemented in the Digital Transformation process; and prepare a set of recommendations for implementing the actions proposed in the Plan. The research typology was characterized as exploratory research, carrying out a case study that focused on UFCA. The research had a qualitative approach and was based on the analysis of documents, regulations and legislation. To analyze the collected data, content analysis strategies were adopted in order to identify, through records of regulations, plans and Laws, the actions carried out in the Digital Transformation process. From the analysis it was identified that issues related to digital transformation are covered in UFCA's strategic planning, through the PDP and that the requirements outlined in decree 10,332/2020 have already been implemented. It is noteworthy that the activities foreseen in the DPT/UFCA were not implemented due to operational issues and IT personnel shortages.
