Qualification, when well disseminated, becomes an allied to several constructs - one of them is organizational commitment. However, the general objective of this research was to analyze the relationships between professional qualification and commitment in hotel organizations in the municipality of João Pessoa / PB. Thus, the theoretical basis addressed aspects related to the hotel sector, the importance of human capital, professional qualification and organizational commitment and its types. Regarding the methodology, it is descriptive in terms of its objectives, with an analytical-quantitative approach. The SPSS program was used for tabulation of data, in order to describe and correlate the variables in question. The survey had a sample of 20 hotels located in the municipality of João Pessoa, with 5 respondents being assigned to each hotel, totaling 100 respondents. The questionnaire was divided into three blocks: professional qualification, organizational commitment and socioeconomic profile. As a result, this study presents a strong relationship between the benefits perceived by employees in relation to the qualification offered by the company and the instrumental commitment.
