For a better understanding of the subject, it is made, initially, a reflection on games in general, their origin and their role in society. Then, the main features of a board game are shown, just as the most common mechanics used nowadays and their most distinct forms of classification. It is also made as an analysis of the main roles of the designer in the creation of projects of this same market segment. From then on, the process of creating the game begins, using the method suggested by I. Schreiber (2009, apud Cunegato; Lemos), starting from the moment of research to the production of prototypes, gameplay tests and evaluation by players.
