The justification for choosing the theme is related to the importance of knowing the strategies used by the managers of municipal schools in Riacho da Cruz / RN, as well as understanding motivation as a tool that stimulate the growth of the team of teachers. In order to obtain accurate information on the subject, it is necessary to use research of an exploratory nature, supported by a descriptive and qualitative approach with regard to the information collected. To achieve the research objectives, questionnaires with semi-structured questions were used as a technical procedure for data collection, one for managers and the other for pedagogical coordinators and teachers. Thus, it was possible to verify that employees, in general, are satisfied, however, given the answers, such as suggestions and a few complaints from the professionals themselves, some improvements would favor the environment to become more motivating and, consequently, the result significantly interfered for more positive results in the classroom. Wherefore, the study made it possible to understand that some actions are carried out in both institutions to keep professionals motivated, however, such actions need to be more effective and intensified. It is necessary, therefore, that the management of schools in the municipal network of Riacho da Cruz / RN are constantly seeking to develop work to raise the level of performance of organizations.
