Based on this evidence, I ask myself in this dissertation how the adaptation to remote teaching was for the portion of University students who are women and mothers. To what extent has the emergency remote teaching modality impacted the life dynamics of these students? How did university mothers, located in the domestic environment, reconcile academic life and motherhood in this new context? These are some questions that this ethnographic research aimed to understand. In this sense, the present research aimed to present and reflect on the processes of reconciliation between academic life and motherhood experienced by university mothers during the Emergency Remote Teaching period, contextualized in light of the Covid-19 pandemic scenario and social isolation. experienced in the city of Natal/RN during the year 2021. To this end, virtual fieldwork was carried out between the second half of the year 2020 until December 2021. And the interlocutions took place through dialogues in a group on Whatsapp titled “MÃES UNIVERSITÁRIAS” (UNIVERSITY MOTHERS), which was created for the purposes of this research.
