Even in this context and despite the growing number of new cases of syphilis worldwide, the severity of the disease and its ability to generate serious sequelae, currently, little research aims to create and improve the diagnostic methods for syphilis. Based on this problem, the present work proposes the development of a new medical device for diagnosing syphilis that may not allow false negative or false positive results since it directly investigates the presence of the bacteria (from the identification of its DNA sequence) in blood sample analyzed, thus a treponemic test capable of being incorporated into the primary health care network in Brazil and inducing the national testing policy in the care networks.Acesso AbertoDiagnóstico de sífilisDispositivo médicoBiosensoresmasterThesis
