Over the past twenty years, global optimization methods have gained prominence in geophysics due to their ability to perform inversions without relying on gradient information or an initial model. In this study, we implemented WOA to enhance the accuracy of the generated models. The algorithm’s effectiveness was evaluated through tests on synthetic models, with the addition of 5% Gaussian noise, as well as on real data.
