However, there are still few studies in the Northeast region. Objective: to characterize the typical phonological acquisition at segmental and syllabic level in children living in Natal. Method: Approved in the Research Ethics committee under opinion number 2,631,150. The sample totals 28 children organized in age between 4:1 and 6:5, who do not present speech and neurobiological alterations. Results: acquisition of all phonemes in simple and complex onset is like other studies. There is no /R/ archfonema in the position of final coda, and difficulty in performing the archfonemem a medial position with late stabilization. Conclusion: the acquisition of the /R/ filephonein in final position was compatible with its linguistic community, however, the /R/ filephone in the medial coda position was acquired late.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Linguagem infantil; Fonética; Desenvolvimento InfantilChild Language; Phonetics; Child DevelopmentCaracterização da aquisição fonológica típica: segmental e silábicaCharacterization of typical phonological acquisition: segmental and syllablebachelorThesis
