Consequently, the application of classes that aim to expand students' perception of their bodies occurs with minimal frequency. It is necessary to seek new paths and point out possibilities to overcome this stagnation through experiences that highlight the contributions of Body Awareness in School Physical Education. It is necessary, in addition to the content traditionally covered in the area, to expand the pedagogical possibilities, making it pertinent to highlight the contributions and possibilities of Body Awareness for School Physical Education. In this perspective, this work aims to identify how the perception of the body, based on Body Consciousness, contributes as a possibility for expanding the repertoire of Movement Culture, creativity, self-knowledge, and body schema, as well as to the deepening of students’ body image. Towards the established objective, this work will be carried out as an intervention in a 1st-year high school class at the Centro Estadual de Educação Profissional de Ensino Médio em Tempo Integral Professor João Faustino Ferreira Neto. Three body awareness practices will be addressed, namely: Eutony, Antigymnastics, and the Método Dança-Educação Física. After classes, experience reports will be requested from students, which will later be analyzed according to the phenomenological research method. As a result of this investigation, we intend to understand the meanings that experience with Body Consciousness practices provide.
