Implantação de técnicas de relaxamento para servidores da UFRN com diagnóstico de fibromialgia. 2020. 117f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Práticas de Saúde e Educação) - Escola de Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/31888Fibromyalgia is considered a syndrome of unknown etiology; its main characteristic is generalized chronic pain, as well as several symptoms such as sleep and psychological disorders, generalized fatigue, which can evolve most of the time to depressive symptoms. Among the recommended non-pharmacological treatments are relaxation techniques. These have several benefits for the organism, in addition to promoting the restoration of organic functions and serving as a therapeutic tool that helps in the integrative process between mind and body. This work aimed to implement and institutionalize relaxation techniques as therapeutic instruments for UFRN employees diagnosed with fibromyalgia. It is a case study, with an exploratory and descriptive character and a qualitative approach. The research was developed from the use of an instrument that was the semi-structured interview. The research participants were UFRN employees diagnosed with fibromyalgia who met the inclusion criteria. Thus, data collection included the application of a semi-structured interview with civil servants and the understanding of the biopsychic suffering that involves people with fibromyalgia. The data were analyzed qualitatively through content analysis by Minayo with the desire to obtain a better understanding from the data obtained to relate and confirm the assumptions treated in this research. The research faithfully respected the determinations of Resolution No. 466/2012 of the National Health Council (CNS) and all the fundamental precepts of Bioethics. The results obtained through the research showed that all study participants: have an interest in participating in the relaxation group, as they recognize the contribution of these practices offered in the study as beneficial in the prevention of injuries, health promotion and recovery; as all reported having felt physical and mental well-being after the performance of relaxation practices and that in view of the benefits cited by the interviewees through the use of the relaxation resource. Therefore, in view of the benefits mentioned by the interviewees, through the use of the relaxation resource, it was possible to perceive the potentialities that Gerdar Alexander's Eutonia practices, Jacobson's progressive relaxation and Caycediana Sofrology presented to the study participants. In addition, as they are easy to apply and have low financial resources, the need to implement the action provided for employees suffering from fibromyalgia was identified, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of these people. It is noteworthy that, through the development of the Research, the Therapeutic Roadmap for Relaxation was produced, configuring a product resulting from the Research. Thus, as the product is applied, it is requested to refine it to create the Permanent Relaxation Group of Therapeutic Character.Acesso AbertoFibromialgiaRelaxamentoDorQualidade de vidaImplantação de técnicas de relaxamento para servidores da UFRN com diagnóstico de fibromialgiamasterThesis
