As a primary issue, a holistic understanding of the topic requires dialogue between various areas of study such as ecology, genetics, evolution, embryology and endocrinology. Due to its complexity, it is difficult to estimate all the knowledge necessary to study it completely. This work proposed to carry out an analysis using bioinformatics through an evolutionary rooting method of selected orthologous genes in the human species. The selection was carried out manually due to the scarcity of specialized databases on the topic, totaling more than 300 genes. This approach allows us to observe patterns of presence and absence of selected genes in a phylogenetic tree. The initiative aims to provide new insights into sexual differentiation through a new tool capable of performing large-scale ortholog comparisons.
