The school has an important role in society would not be out of the age of technology, so this study aimed to analyze the use of media and ICT in the teaching and learning process of physical education classes. The classes have been developed in the Escola Estadual Professora Maria Queiroz, located in the Felipe Camarão neighborhood in Natal / RN, the selected class was the year 9 of elementary school. The subject of the lessons was the game, specifically the popular games, together with the subject have been addressed three dimensions: conceptual, attitudinal and procedural. Classes were planned in a systematic way, in other words, they were organized in a progressive and continuous manner, associating one class with the other, from simple to complex. The chosen media were movies and videos that portray new ways of thinking in games of jump rope and dodgeball, through them think of ways to reframe these games trying to rescue the elements that were part of our culture. After the interventions, analyzed from the application of a questionnaire, the reports of the students during the lessons and results of activities undertaken by the students if the chosen media were useful forand the redefinition of popular games jump rope and dodgeball game besides we seach for identify if the interlocution of media with the traditional methods of teaching have been a good strategy to motivate students to participate more in class.
