This research proposes to contribute to the visibility, appreciation, and acknowledgement of literatures that, for many, are considered marginalized and that in Brazil, are little studied, little read, and little known. It is a study based on the literary analysis of the novel El Metro (2007), by Donato Ndongo-Bidyogo, as well as on the experiences he recounts regarding the immigration process of Africans to European countries, specifically Spain. The objective is to work on identity discussions, and the process of colonialism and postcolonialism as a primary source influencing these other Hispanic literatures, along with cultural and geopolitical aspects, with an analysis focused on the specificities and voices present in literatures produced in Spanish by African countries, especially Equatorial Guinea, Western Sahara, and Morocco. The investigation was conducted through a qualitative approach, combining comparative literary analysis and postcolonial framework. Finally, the literary and theoretical data were compared and analyzed, allowing the achievement of the proposed objectives and providing answers to relevant questions for understanding Afro-Hispanic society and literature, with satisfactory results in the analysis of quotations.pt-BRalteridade.Otras literaturas hispánicasInmigraciónAlteridadOutras literatura hispânicasColonialismo - Literatura hispânicaPós-colonialismo - Literatura hispânicaImigraçãoNdongo-BidyogoDonato (1950 -).
