The text emphasis is the use of abortive medication "misoprostol", known by the trade name Cytotec®. For the research, was used data from seventeen (17) cases of women who agreed to be partners of research giving interviews, long conversations and sharing personal writings about their abortion experiences. Interspersing the discussion, there is the contribution of three mediator agents - sellers and mediators - to obtain the illegal medication, as well the participation of four men who were part of the drug purchasing process to partners (girlfriends, "quick affairs" or wives). The central question on which the text put a spotlight is the way whereby the women whom wish to interrupt a pregnancy reach the necessary means to carry out the illegal abortion in this city. The aspects focused in this text are the paths walked by these women since the moment of detection of pregnancy, until obtaining the medication. Analytically, are contemplated characters of these interviews and fragments of the dramas related to the illegality of this practice and the risks involved in the act of buying misoprostol. According to facts noticed in the research, the participation of men in the sale and in the process of seeking and obtaining the medication is a common fact. Regarding the methodological bias, the field work was done to tread such itineraries through a network of the researcher and previous experience of undergraduate work, which allowed the contacts with interlocutors and interlocutors. This network resulted in a noticed convergence of routes - unsafe abortion with misoprostol in the domestic environment (home or a friend residence provided in secret) or inns, hotels, motels, and followed by the seek for medical care in public or private hospitals.Acesso AbertoAbortoItinerários abortivosMisoprostolMulheresMulheres e itinerários abortivos: etnografia sobre os caminhos do misoprostol na capital norteriograndensemasterThesis
