They need to know their school audience to collaborate properly with education institutions. This work reports a study of the school audience at the Câmara Cascudo Museum. A descriptive documen-tary research was carried out with data on the visits scheduling by educational institu-tions between April and December 2019. A diverse public was well distributed over time, coming from several cities in the state and neighboring states. All age groups from 4 years old and all levels of education were sig-nificant. Public educational institutions were more present than private ones. There was a return of 31.5% of educational institutions, without impediment to distance, institution nature and education level. The visit objec-tives were very abstract. The museum needs to assess whether its services and commu-nication are suitable for its school audience and make the necessary arrangements.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Pesquisa de públicoMCCPerfil de públicoEstudanteEscolaAudience researchAudience profileSchoolStudentA diversidade do público escolar que visita o Museu Câmara CascudoThe school audience diversity that visits the Câmara Cascudo Museumarticle
