Manifesting spontaneously or gradually, arrhythmias are disease with a high mortality rate and entail a significant number of hospitalizations each year. It is evident that arrhythmias, as a whole, pose a public health problem affecting populations in various locations. The epidemiology of the disease provides crucial insights into where and how the condition behaves in each region, enabling important mapping for the health of individuals affected by cardiac arrhythmias. Consequently, this study aims to analyze health data related to cardiac arrhythmias and their prevalence in the state of Rio Grande do Norte to identify the areas most affected by the pathology and map the disease over the years. This is an ecological study with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted by searching the Brazilian computing department of the Unified Health Sistem database using an instrument created by the researcher with specific variables to map and quantify arrhythmias. The results indicate a significant incidence of hospitalizations due to conduction disorders, especially among men and the elderly. Additionally, there was a noticeable increase in variables such as mixed race and in the metropolitan area.
