In this activity, the use of the written modality of a language becomes preponderant. E-mail as a new kind of medium for writing and reading affects the way its users interact, making it necessary to master new information and new reflections. By using qualitative research, some analyses of an e-mail corpus are made. These e-mails belong to the heterogeneous category of spam (name given by internet users to unrequested e-mails that have no specific purpose) and were collected from e-mail users.
