This change in way of communication between users offers great potential for involvement in patient care, supporting their self-management and commitment with health services. Improve communication, facilitate compliance with scheduled procedures and reduce surgical suspensions. Thus, the objective of this work was to develop a communication tool called Surgery Remember to mitigate surgical suspensions due to patient absenteeism. It is a study of technological production divided into four chapters: review of the literature, analysis of the administrative profile of the hospital under study, software development and process mapping for implementation of the surgery Remember. To approach the problem of absenteeism as the main cause of surgical suspension in the last three years, the development of this system aims to reduce cancellations of surgeries. Message sending three days before surgical procedure allows patients replacement in case of no-show, optimizing human and material resources of operating room. Confirmation of pre-anesthetic consultation is also positive to verify improvement of perioperative care. Therefore, the software developed, in addition to being viable and easy to implement, allows the addition of other functions on demand, proving to be favorable in solving the exposed problem.Acesso AbertoSmartphoneSistema de lembreteSoftwareCentro cirúrgicoAbsenteísmoSurgery Remember: ferramenta de mitigação das suspensões cirúrgicasmasterThesis
