Methodology: This is a cross-sectional study, with a sample of 47 climacteric women, aged 40 to 65 years. The instruments used were: questionnaire on associated diseases, lifestyle habits and nutritional status; Stages of Reproductive Aging Workshop (STRAW) to investigate the menopausal stage; Utian Quality of Life Scale (UQOL) to investigate quality of life. The data were explored descriptively. RESULTS: The average age of the women was 50 ± 5.74 years. The majority were married or in a stable union (74.5%), with a family income of 1 to 2 minimum wages (48.9%) and completed secondary education (63.8%); they were in perimenopause (38.3%), overweight (40.4%) and practiced physical exercise (55.3%); the most prevalent morbidity was arterial hypertension (42.6%). The women who had the highest quality of life score were those who were in perimenopause, with a eutrophic nutritional status, who practiced regular physical exercise and had a marital status with a partner. Conclusion: Thus, the study identified that the majority of women were in perimenopause, overweight and most had hypertension. The quality of life domain that presented the highest score was occupational. Furthermore, women with low income, physical inactivity and overweight were those who had the lowest quality of life score.Attribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/ClimatérioClimactericQualidade de vidaSaúde da mulherQuality of lifeWomen's HealthQualidade de vida e condições de saúde de mulheres no climatérioQuality of life and health conditions of climacteric womenbachelorThesis
